Susan Charlotte just emailed me and was attempting to upload her flash file to her blog (see classmates links) but was having problems so I thought, that would be great to do. I’ll just have a go at uploading mine and see how it is not working, I have saved it in a variety of formats and will give it a go here.
Just before I do I will say a bit about it, we were learning to use flash last year in the certificate class by doing a simple animated animal with music to put on our mobile phones. Using Illustrator and working with layers sorted, I chose to make a fish (Siamese fighter) and he was going to be saying ‘sorry’ in some sad form. Well I think it turned out pretty good, I did get a bit tangled up in the layers of fins, but in the end he wasn’t looking so sorry as sad, so he ended up saying ‘I miss you’.
Well I did try a few different things, it does look like I’ll have to wait till I get to TAFE to open it in flash and save it as a gif file if possible, at least I know one of the lecturers would know what type of file to use. It does make it a bit dificult to alter these files if you don’t have the right programmes, I thought I might be able to put it in powerpoint and upload it from that but, sorry Sue, no-go.
This seems to have worked in some form, what I did was to right click on the html file in my folder, go to ‘open as’ then ‘other’ & found Adobe acrobat pro, in that I simply ‘save as’-ed a pdf. It will do untill I get to TAFE, I am just hopeing it is working in other computers & not just mine, because mine has the file anyhow… let me know if your’e reading this, please.
Apparently it isn’t working, so I am still working on it – there should be some sort of help to go to to work this out… I wont give up!
